This coming week is full of haunted houses, farmers markets, concerts, tours and more.
Festival goers will definitely want to check out:
- 2nd annual Light The Nations on October 21st from 4pm-10pm, free to attend, highlighting the Nations’ local businesses and featuring art, vendors, food trucks, live entertainment, a kids’ zone, and a dog park;
- 8th Annual Tennessee Beer and Wine Fest on October 21st from 12pm-5pm at Two Rivers Mansion in Donelson, where your ticket will get you samples from the best local, regional, national and import breweries and samples from a grand selection of wines, and featuring seminars, live music, artisan booths and more; and
- Centennial Craft Fest on October 21st from 10am-5pm, free to attend, where you can enjoy 70+ local artisans, food vendors, an Oktobertfest Pub, and live music.
Kids of all ages will have fun at:
- The Glow: Nashville at Fontanel in Whites Creek, an enchanting fall wonderland featuring fall treats and drinks and a scenic trail filled with over 5,000 hand-carved jack o’lanterns; or
- 2nd annual Halloween Pooch Parade at Cheekwood, on October 21st from 10am-5pm, where costumed dogs and their owners are invited to parade around the gardens and take advantage of the photo station. Donated items will be collected for Nashville Humane Association (see wish list).
And music lovers will appreciate:
- Free Day of Music in Nashville on October 21st at Schermerhorn Symphony Center, where you can enjoy free classical, country, rock, jazz, and other performances on four different stages, all day and into the night (11am-9pm), as well as a kids’ zone, crafts, food vendors, beer garden.
