About 15 minutes east of downtown Nashville, the Nashville International Airport (BNA) offers flights from a multitude of major airlines. Nashville’s most common form of publictransportation is the bus service provided by Nashville MTA, with the free Music City Circuit buses running a downtown route.  The Music City Star Train transports commuters between downtown Nashville and the eastern suburbs of Lebanon, Mt. Juliet, Hermitage, and Donelson.  Other ground transportation options include the numerous cab companies and rideshare programs, such as Uber and Lyft.  In recent years, Nashville has added more sidewalks and bike lanes, seeking to make active transportation another option for Nashvillians.
