The Big Payback is a community-wide, 24-hour online giving challenge hosted by The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. This charitable event will help area nonprofits raise much-needed dollars and bring awareness to pressing needs in our community.
In the past five years, The Big Payback has helped raise more than $12.5 million for more than 1,000 local nonprofits – including schools and religious institutions. Participating organizations have received gifts from 24,716 NEW donors they may have not otherwise reached.
On Thursday, May 2nd, let’s show everyone just how generous Middle Tennessee residents are when we support each other.

Juliet this May when the Exchange Club West of Wilson County joins with American Legion Post 281 to host their 7th Annual Field of Honor® display that will feature 400 U.S. flags honoring veterans and all Americans who love Old Glory. This anticipated local tradition draws area residents together to walk among flags posted in ordered rows and columns that remind us that our freedoms have been purchased by the service and sacrifice of those who have and do wear the uniform of our nation. At the close of the event, sponsors will retain the flags they dedicated to honor individuals. The Mt. Juliet display is a gift to the community made possible through donations, sponsorships and the efforts of many dedicated volunteers. You can show your support and gratitude by sponsoring a flag or making a donation. The impact of this event is hard to adequately describe, but once experienced it is not to be forgotten.
