There are so many exciting things on the calendar this month! Of course, there are special menus and other events planned around Valentine’s Day, but I think what I’m most excited about is the Chinese New Year Celebration in Hillsboro Village (there is also an indoor celebration planned at Plaza Mariachi) and a cooking class with my favorite chef, Maneet Chauhan! If you haven’t tried her restaurant Tánsuŏ (which means ‘to explore’ in Cantonese) on 12th Avenue, I strongly encourage you to do so. What better time to explore their menu than on Chinese New Year (February 5th) except maybe during a Monday dinner or Sunday brunch when dim sum cart service is offered!
